Resources on the Concerto in ARMA
ARMA includes full scores of selected concertos from the seventeenth through the twentieth centuries. As with other pieces, the articles on Genres and Forms from various style periods offer some useful backgrounds to use with your students. Specifically, the articles on Genres and Forms in the Baroque, Classical, and Romantic style periods are particularly useful. When your students encounter topic-specific terminology, they may find ARMA's Glossary to be a useful starting point.
